Johnson Controls 1" Stroke Pneumatic Actuators For VAV and Small Terminal Units

The D-3031 Pneumatic Actuator is designed primarily for damper positioning on small terminal units. Models, furnished with 1 in. stroke, have two movable adjustment stops to facilitate adjusting the stroke in 1/8" increments.

Johnson Controls Pneumatic Damper Actuators Light Duty (4 sq. ft.)

The D-3062 Pneumatic Piston Damper Actuator is used to accurately position small dampers primarily on variable air volume (VAV) and terminal units. The actuator is also recommended for use on other air flow control dampers, in interior locations, with a maximum area of 4 sq. ft.

This actuator is recognized for use on UL classified 555/555S smoke and combination fire/smoke dampers which have been tested and approved to a degradation temperature of 250˚F

Use the 6x6'' pneumatic damper actuator on large automatic air control dampers. Its unique universal mounting bracket also allows it to be used on butterfly valves and variable fan inlet vanes. Available with or without an adjustable start point positive positioner.

VAV Box Actuators

These Pneumatic Damper Actuators are designed primarily for use on VAV terminal units in HVAC systems.

All models are furnished with a right-angle mounting bracket which affords ease of mounting to the side of a VAV terminal. The actuator can be rotated in the mounting bracket so that the air connection can be positioned where desired. The shaft is terminated with a slot and clevis pin to allow direct connection to the damper linkage of a VAV terminal.

The all metal body allows use in ceiling plenums to meet local safety codes.

Light Duty Damper Actuators

The No. 3 Pneumatic Actuator is a rugged metal fabricated device designed with a 2-3/8'' stroke for gradual or positive actuation of HVAC and fire/smoke dampers.

Medium Duty Damper Actuators

The No. 4 actuator is recommended for applications such as control of outdoor air, return air, mixed air, exhaust, face and bypass, fan discharge, multisection, static pressure control, fan inlet vanes and other special applications.
